Do Medicare Advantage plans have coverage limits?
The terms of Medicare Advantage plans vary. Review the coverage details of your plan and others you're interested in to see what limits or exclusions may apply.
What won't you get help with?
Hospice care: Medicare Advantage plans must cover the same services as Original Medicare (Parts A and B), except they don’t provide hospice care, which is still covered by Medicare Part A. You can, however, keep your Medicare Advantage plan and receive hospice care at the same time. Your Medicare Advantage plan would continue to cover health care services not related to the hospice care.
Medicare Advantage plans that include drug coverage may not cover the same drugs as you would get with a standalone Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, and costs for similar drugs may vary.
